On a sunny, but very windy day, the crowd of participants began to gather for the season-opening ceremony of the "Balaton twisted steamer". In the windy area next to the Bárka Café we waited for a fun chat to begin the opening. Mr. Árpád Kopasz led the mayors of Balatonboglár and Révfülöp, our National Captain, and the sculptor Éva Sörös on board the ship at 10:15, and the ceremony began. As is customary, the leaders of the two settlements welcomed the assemblers, recalling those present, the history of the "Balaton twisted steamer" people and destinies, and his message to the present. On behalf of the Brotherhood, our National Captain addressed the participants. A novelty was the creative initiative of the guest sculptor's creative community, inviting participants to fold a paper boat. Many have tried and supported the creative initiative. The event moved the participants and lively discussions on several topics were developed. The future port of Révfülöp was also on the agenda. We were cheering for those present and hoped that the fate of the project would finally be settled.
Following the twisted steam program, we began the inauguration ceremony of our brother Predator at ½12 in the harbor. Under the guidance of our brother El Toro, a tradition-based initiation has taken place, along with line fires with dry black powder. After the powder had run out, the brothers, corsars and guests invaded the Rose Garden restaurant. After throwing the attendees on the sword and taking their tables, our National Captain greeted the attendees. He was pleased to thank our brother El Toro for his return. He was surprised when he thanked our founding brother for his work and handed over the "Connetable" title and the associated stamp. The attendees expressed their long and steady applause for the honorable surprise. After the nice interlude, we ate the food from the buffet. We can say that everything met our expectations, the guests were well-off.
At 1/2 4 pm, we opened the table with the good feeling that the idea of fraternity had been re-established.
Yes, the Hungarian Party Brotherhood is alive and well.
