Report on the Balaton Table's spring sea tour

Date: 2021.05.14- 05.17.
Participants:
Lupo di Mare, Vitéz, Turul, Brothers of the Balaton Table
Attila Kovács, and István Horváth guests.

We arrived in Kastella in the afternoon, rigged the sail and headed for the port of Stomorska on the island of Solta. The distance was about 10 nm.  The galley was excellent, we just had coffee on the beach. The mooring fee was 460 Kuna, and they charged an extra 5 kunas per person for using the toilet. Not a friendly price and attitude before the season.
On Saturday the 15th we sailed over to Milna on the island of Bracs and parked the boat in front of the café. After a short walk and coffee we headed for Vis.  Initially there was no wind, although our brother Vali was searching frantically. When we reached the height of the island of Hvar, a great mistral came. After 14 nm of enjoyable sailing, we entered the sheltered bay of Vis town.
Here, our brother Vitéz suggested that we put in at the old harbour. I voted against it, instead I stopped at Kut in the bay of visi. The baths there are very good, and much quieter than the visi plaza. (No cars at the end of the boat at night.)
On Kut, Turul and I stopped at a pub and had 3 glasses of beer for the equivalent of 3000 Ft. Unfortunately, they couldn't cook octopus in an oven, so dinner was on the boat, skipping the otherwise expensive konobas.
On Sunday, the 16th, we sailed back to Kastella from Vis with a round trip of about 30 nm.
