10.31.

In sunny weather we headed for our Phoenix captain's minibus, Balatonboglár, and Nagykanizsa boarding. The bus started off at 10 o'clock in the morning, and the team was full at 11 1/4 am in Nagykanizsa. The target was the port of Kastela Gomilica in front of Split, 524 km from Nagykanizsa. We were on a good pace, besides the usual gas station stop, we rested at Gospa od Puta's rest and lookout to see the Krka River.

At 17 o'clock, we arrived at the port of Kastela Gomilica, we slept, we shared the sleeping places.

After we settled down, we had dinner, (fried loops and sausages with bread, keg pepper) and we had a nice conversation the next day. After a long analysis and a few glasses of wine, the team found that wind direction and weather would be decisive in choosing a destination. We relaxed in this.

11.01.

We were awake for a rainy weather. The jug persistently blown with 20-25 knots. Lupo di Mare prepared a hearty breakfast with 30 eggs, sausages and onions. We roamed, packed, and started the maneuvers. The sailing was conducted by Captain Phoenix, and we headed for the Ciovo outlet with engine. There we pulled the code0 over there and in the dropped quarter wind we targeted the gateway between Brac-Solta at a speed of 7-7.8 knots. It was raining, I was already waterproof at the wheel. The wind got stronger in stripes and, as he approached Solta, he spun, so we couldn't keep the gateway. In front of Solta, a 30-35 knot reinforcement lay on the ship, and as it had to turn, we removed the sail. With the engine we went to Brac's cover and then we drove to Milna. After walking through the town, dinner, beef stew with croutons, a'la Selmeczi.

11.02.

It was still daunting in the morning, but it was not raining. Turul prepared the fried bacon-bean-onion with fresh bread. After a hearty breakfast, we headed for Maslinica, outside of Salt. We went through the gateway with engine, pulled up the code0, and, with a three-quarter-backward direction, started scooter along Solta in 20-25 knot winds on 2-4m waves, running 6.5-7.5 knots. After 1.5-2 hours of sailing, we reached the northwestern tip of Solta and we sailed into the Sesula Bay taking off the sail. Here, Lupo di Mare bathed in the 20 ° C sea, the rest of us encouraged him and we watched the naked bathing women on the adjacent ship. After the pleasant stop we drove over to Maslinica, where they did not want to allow the mooring, referring to the yugo. Finally, the power of Lupo di Mare was determined and the harbor master surrendered. We knocked, walked around the town, and we went into the pub before the rain, where the interpretation of embezzlement was too far beyond Rejtő. After the rain stopped, we bought fresh bread in the city shop and fig jam as a gift. In the evening, the onion-cheese one-course dinner with fresh bread, delicious cucumber, was greeted by Captain Phoenix. (here only video was made, so I can't attach image)

11.03.

We woke up in the sunny windy morning, the sea was calm. After breakfast we dismantled the sails and taking advantage of the wide and clean paddle, we folded both properly. The spray hood and the bimini were also packaged and then we started off with a motor to Kastela. After an uncommon riding, we docked at 3pm in the afternoon and continued the wintering of the ship. Turul and Lupo started swimming in the sea.

After the sea, of course, you have to take a shower with fresh water…

By a joint decision we set the next day's departure time, 10 hours, so Turul could get back home the same day and started packing into the bus. In the afternoon, we rode to Split and checked out the Old Town. In the evening we arrived at 8 pm and dined in the new restaurant of the harbor. The food was very delicious, the price was higher by ~ 30% than in Hungary. After dinner even talk on the boat, a summary of the experiences.

What's on the luggage car was taken to the bus… ..

11.04.

On the morning of her journey home, Elenor made the sandwiches on the road. After breakfast we packed into the bus, we finished with 10,15 am the ship was cleaned, the ropes were waiting for spring. We started off at 24 ° C in bright sunshine and reached the Hungarian border with two stops. We arrived there after half an hour in a row and arrived at Nagykanizsa at 4 pm. After the goodbye of the friends, the rest went to Boglár and Zalaegerszeg.

Very good company came together, the atmosphere was good and the harmony was very enjoyable. We were not on a performance tour, we sailed and lived comfortably, we solved the stressful world of everyday life.

I came back with nice memories and experiences, good mood, thank you to all the members of the team.
