Visit to the Tulln Boat Show

At Lupo di Mare's suggestion, already at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, to expand the information, let's go to the Tulln Boat Show. For this reason, the organization began, which was usually done by our Captain Phoenix. The date was 04.03.2017 and after several meetings the participants formed. The entrants are thanks to Brontolo, who was unable to attend the exhibition, as Lupo di Mare had retired at the last minute. So we could invite guests.

We left Balatonboglár at 6 in the morning and arrived comfortably at 10:30. We were lucky enough to find a parking space near the western entrance, so the visit started at 11.

Immediately we found out that due to the good weather, they visited a lot, not only the locals, but also many of our country. From an event standpoint, the exhibition did not reach the Düsseldorf level, apparently the smaller ships were the backbone and only the Dufour and Bavaria boats were larger than 41 feet. The electric drive is heavily compressed and requires space, and the Solana 35 already boasted this. Motor boats also saw this trend. I also saw a motor boat with a futuristic shape, but we couldn't decide how to tie it to the shore. Divers, tour companies, equipment and accessories manufacturers were given a separate hall.

Certainly Tulln is unbeatable in a brasserie bar per exhibition space, but I have to criticize the organization a bit because it doesn't even take 30 minutes to queue for a beer!

All in all, the experience was interesting. Apparently, a different customer segment came into the focus of the exhibitors, but this event was also about money, trading, not the shipping industry.
