Opening of the 145-year-old Balaton steamboat on April 22, 2017

The opening ceremony in April, which has already become a tradition, came from the Table of Budapest Ábánd, Clochard and Tudor,from the Table of Balaton Phoenix, Carlo, Accord and Vagabund. Captives and aspirants also arrived at the opening ceremony starting at 11 am. The weather has taken its toll on it, because it has brought warm weather but a pleasant spring shape against forecasts and morning outlooks. Our Phoenix brother brought the Mayor of Révfülöp to the opening ceremony, and the visitors.

It looks like it wasn't hot on the water…

The ship museum and the creator of the exhibition, Árpád Kopasz, welcomed those who appeared, and asked the mayors of Balatonboglár and Révfülöp to remember the past and present-day relationship between the two settlements. After the praiseworthy speeches, the Bahart chief executive greeted the audience, and finally the speech of the Brotherhood of the Coast closed the official opening.

Following the opening ceremony, Árpád Kopasz invited the guests to the Barka café, and then in the ship museum the CEO of Bahart, József Kollár informed about the situation, plans, opportunities and future development plans of the shipping service company. On the brochure All the representatives of the Brotherhood of the Coast were present, we listened with interest to the speaker, and there were several questions that we received real answers to.

The Captain of the Balaton Table, Phoenix, greeted those present. He was pleased that the formerly outdated brothers also returned to the table and that the aspirants were also active participants in the organized programs. He welcomed our brothers from the Budapest Table and handed over the new flag of Abbrand and Lupo di Mare, which was made on request at the Balaton Table. Subsequently, the headscarfs were handed over to aspirants, Gábor Csizmazia and Sárkány Sárkány, who were not prepared for the nomination zaffaranchora on 18.11.2016. The Brothers accepted József Selmeczi as an aspirant who, with the recommendation of Lupo Di Mare, was a guest at several of our previous events. Accepting the aspirant's recommendation, we have now entered the candidate's head and he started the aspirant's period.

After the official events, a musical buffet lunch started and took place until the pop. As a surprise, the music was provided by the owner of the restaurant, while the charge of the buffet was controlled by his wife. Fried meat and mushrooms, fried chicken thighs, meatballs, garnishes and salads lined up with the cake and soup. In spite of several rounds of consumption, none of the catches were able to produce a deficit, so we gave up.

Captain Phoenix closed the zaffarancho. One half of the company left home while the other half started to sail with Phoenix and brought the mayor and guests back to Révfülöp.

There was a little wind around us, but we got a small east wind that we could enjoy. At the pilot wheel, the youngest aspirant of the Balaton Table was busy with great results and enthusiasm.

At 17:00 we closed again at Boglár and greeted each other after a successful, enjoyable and informative day. Successful and enjoyable markers are shown in the pictures. The instructive marker was the presentation of the lecture, the subsequent conversations and information about the future of Lake Balaton.
