Obituary "Hussar" in memory of our Brother
There is a place on the shore of Lake Balaton called "Beautiful Lookout", which I like to visit. If I'm going to sea, I'll always come here. This is a high place from where it is said in fine weather that it can be provided until the end of Lake Balaton. They say it is not so, of course, but it is far from certain. As far away as the sea can be. I'm here to meditate.
Here I also said goodbye to Sepia, on the horizon with the mountain it is resting on.
I'm sitting here again. The rays of the setting sun are barely lit, the cold wind is scratching my face, perhaps causing my eyes to blur. Far, eastward, a ship is sailing towards Sepia, its sails like seagulls in the dawn, gliding over the water, farther and farther. Hussar stands at the helm, looks back only once, raises his hand, beckons, and reads from his eyes: Hello, little brother! That's the way it should be! Listen to me!
I shudder, the nose of the ship shoots Sepia's figure, stands on the ropes and puts the "mezzomarina" in place. Like so many times before.
The wind makes sounds to me, I hear the slave choir… ..color gold winged thought fly away …………………
The captain sailed !!!
Yet how much we designed it. Years ago, when we were sitting in His eagle nest, on the top of the mountain, looking down into the valleys, we were talking about retirement. About circumventing the earth and visiting all the places we had previously read only in books and in the stories of others. We chose the new boat type, and agreed to be at least 50 feet, maybe 55 feet. Everyone has their own cabin, you make me a separate desk with the shipbuilder Toni in Rimini because he has a golden hand. Toni made his desk in Lucifer's captain's cabin. And who will come with us. For this year, 2006, we planned a short, kind of tuning trip through the Bosphorus from Lignano-Istanbul. But it would have been nice!
He called me 5 days before departure that he had some problem, he had to go to hospital because he was a little yellow. Two days later, we already knew the diagnosis and in a week the judgment.
I often think of the unfathomable fate. What a great deal of luck that fate brings us side by side.
I first met Lucifer in Piran about 10-12 years ago. Laci was not on board, but the Hungarian flag appeared. The beautiful ship and the flag ………… .. I stared and wondered how good it would be to board her. And fate! Fate meant that a few years later, he became the brother of the ship's captain and I was happy to board. Only Lucifer and I knew our secret, which I thanked for where I could fix it, stroke it and look for it. You think I'm crazy? No, Lucifer meant so much to both of us, Laci and me.
We came home from Rimini one night a few years ago, and Carlo was with us. We were running into a severe weather. At first it seemed like we were getting away. A huge array of clouds swirled to the right and left of us on the radar, and we were slowly sneaking between them. The two of us were on duty, midnight was just past, and we were watching closely. “Do you think we'll get away?” I asked. "Maybe," he said, "my guardian angels will look after us!" After all, we didn't get away, but luckily we got home. As we tried to climb the huge swells and dig forward, I asked where the angels are now. Laci smiled a little - they might be busy right now, but believe me, they take care of us. Lucifer moaned, his gutter creaking, but he withstood the waves. I understood what he said while moaning.
It reminds me of hugging me at my inauguration and saying, “Welcome to the Brotherhood, my brother El Toro. He said my brother, and I only really felt later how much that was.
I learned a lot from him. I am happy to see through it the message of the Brotherhood, unconditional acceptance, regardless of rank, age and gender. It is a wonderful feeling for me to meet foreign brothers on the occasion of the International Zafarranchos and to feel that we belong together.
Hussar was driven away from his homeland by the desire for freedom, and how fortunate it was to Italy. Through hard work, he achieved the status of a respected and beloved citizen of his second home country. He found a wife, found a family, made friends, built a home. But he did not want to remain unfaithful to Hungary either. He brought to us what has become his most cherished treasure in his new homeland. Unconditional acceptance, the possibility of a new chance in life. He was extremely grateful to his Italian friends for giving him the Brotherhood to be a member of the Brotherhood of the Coast. It was so valuable to him that he did not want to receive it alone. He had the greatest desire to bring this to us. He found a worthy companion in the person of Julia, who worked tirelessly to help her. The two of us represent the Brotherhood.
Our sailed "Hussar" Brother, in memory of us forever, we give him the title of "Perpetual Captain" of the Coastal Brothers Hungaria.
