Meeting in front of the hotel.
The program began at Friday at 13.00 in the port of Szabics, where Imre Szabics, the dreamer and creator of the harbor, briefly described the history of the harbor and the possibilities of the current program. Our group planned the bird reserve excursion from the assortment and visited the Tiszacsegei fisherman's inn and the ferry.
Shortly before 14 o'clock we set off with the boats for a three-hour tour. Here are some pictures of the excitement of a great time in a wonderful environment.
Phoenix handed Imre Szabics a dedicated book of our brother Ábránd.
Boarding and deperture
And now where? Water Road Sign!
Gray heron, they were sitting on the hard boat board for three hours.
That's not a walk!
It's not easy for the engine…
The cormorants are silent observers of events. Of course they had lunch ...
After our return we landed on a ferry, and we went through the living Tisza before the harbor.
We looked at the all-comfort floating houses and quietly pondered the diversity of water life.
In the evening, we came back to the hotel, full of fun. Before the joint dinner, our national captain welcomed the company, and then we commemorated the tenth anniversary of the death of our founder, László Pintér.
After the memory of Lajos Pintér's brother, we paid a minute's silence to our founder's memory. Then Knight, our national captain, commanded a golpe de canon.
During the evening we met our new guests invited by our brothers, with a personal introduction.
Welcome by our national captain.
On Saturday, in brilliant weather, after the rich breakfast, we went to the harbor where we boarded the Kingfisher and Boglárka ships to take the whole company to Tisza. However, Murphy intervened, because shortly after the departure, the Boglárka ship's engine control bow dropped, and instead took over two boats. All this in the middle of the Tisza, which is natural because we are not sailors? The fact that there were corsars and guests among the passers-by, and I only note with the greatest respect that they have been transferred to the boats with the same naturalness and skill. As if they had practiced it somewhere…
The Kingfisher on the way.
The Boglárka ship was still working.
The Tiszacsege fisherman's inn is at the 454th kilometer of the river, while the 426 kilometer mark is in front of the Szabics port. That's 28 kilometers away, which was about 3.5 hours to overcome, and 2.8 hours later. This is not a short time, but the Tisza's sight, the good company, and the excellent lunch in the tavern soon passed the day.
Fish fillet, smoked and oiled catfish, hatchet and catfish fish soup. After that, the dinner ordered at the hotel was canceled by many…
In the evening, after the return, we met in the hotel. Captain Phoenix asked our brother Clochard to inform us about the rules of the postgraduate course and brotherhood.
After the book, some of them had dinner, but the majority rested under the influence of the events in Tiszacsege fisherman's inn.
Captain Phoenix has closed the zaffaranch and presented the next day's program options, and then the joint program was closed
On Sunday after breakfast, many of us went to Abadszalok, to see the ports of Abad and Salo. There's also sailing life here, we've seen some ships, especially smaller ones, S22, Jeannou 20. Then we stopped at a harbor in Salo, behind a Hanse 36 and tried to find out what a ship like that was looking for here. I'm not saying we realized it, but our opinion was…
We went on to Kisköre to look at the dam and the fish slide. It was easy to find the dam, the fish slide with a small detour, and complicated to find, because there was no signpost anywhere. We finally looked at both facilities, only the slide was a riddle, because no fish wanted to slip in it…
At the end of the day, some of us went to Poroszló to the eco-center to see the largest aquarium in the country. It is an interesting and instructive place to visit.
In summary, in a very pleasant time, we could enjoy a well-organized program for thanking the organizer. We met our little-known Tisza landscape, excellent people, a bit different, different-priority boat life, and the beauty of river shipping.
