Review of Uranus 125 sailing ship transport
The biggest ones of the MAHART sailing fleet in Lake Balaton were Uranus and Saturn, two-mast sailboats.
Uranus:
Built in 1955, Balatonfüred Shipyard, Balatonfüred, HU
The 125 m2 sailboat with steel hull, wooden cabin, heavyweight, ketch, two-mast sailboat with one 4-cylinder Csepel diesel auxiliary engine. The Shipbuilding Directorate's Development Department was designed by the renowned ship designer and builder, Jeno Hankóczy (Benacsek), in 1954-55. Steel hull, wooden superstructure, equipment, equipment, sails, etc. Planning, building and assembling the ship took place at the Balatonfüred Shipyard. The ship was completed in 1955.

In its original condition, its maximum length is 16.95 m, its maximum width is 3.73 m, its superstructure is wooden, and the passenger capacity is 31 people. Owned by Balatoni Hajózási Rt. Since 2003, the company sells the ship. In May 2007, the Z-102 was laid down on a barge in the Siófok hollow space, where the ship's bottom was blown with sand and painted. After that, the internal and external renovation works (25.05.2007) The new owner was unable to complete the renovation works, the ship was auctioned. His new owner delivered it to the Danube, where he used it as a motoryacht until 2015, and then put it out of operation at the unused hollow spine of the Csepel water site. It was sold again in the spring of 2019, and once again the owner of the 2007 renovation, Zsolt Nagy, became the owner. The Phoenix, the Captain of the Balaton Table, also mediated the sale and purchase, so in the organization and presenting of the present events the Balaton Table of the Brothehood of the Coast participated.
The deferred shipment project became real on 14 June 2019. By this time we managed to bring the crane, the transport trailer and all the other conditions, so at 4 o'clock in the morning we headed to Budapest with Captain Phoenix. We arrived at the water management site at ½ 6, where the devices were waiting for the operators. 6 - ½ 7 everyone arrived and the planning of operations started. In the first step, the crane was expected to work properly on the sloped falcon, a meter of weed. There was no easy operation, only the 95-ton Prangl crane was ready for the lift for 9 hours. As a first step, the mast was lowered to the deck and the nose and tail handrails were cut off. Then the 17.5-ton body was lifted, shot and put on the transport trailer. The trailer was a special ship carrier, very neatly designed, because up to 20 tons each ship can be supported and transported safely. At ¾ 12, the trailer moved to the village of Zala, where it arrived at 15:30 after a defect assembly.
The planned location did not seem ideal due to the entrance level difference and the narrow street. The 30-tonne crane arriving at 16 15 pm did not bring hoisting ropes, so an urgent logistics operation had to be installed. At 18 o'clock, there were two cranes and the transport trailer annoyed the villagers, partially blocking the way. The police were also challenged, resulting in the police being finally closed down. After the first attempts, it became clear that the trailer did not fit the ship. That's why the ship was temporarily laid down and supported on the street crawl bridge for 20 hours.
